It is so important to know about the candidates before you vote.  The League of Women Voters of Elkhart County along with the American Democracy Project of IUSB invited candidates from both parties to participate in this event. A big welcome to all the candidates attending who care to meet the public and discuss issues. Representatives will read statements from those candidates unable to attend. Among the many who will be attending: Linda Rogers (uncontested state Senate D11), Jeff Siegel (uncontested candidate for county sheriff), and The Elkhart Community School board candidates. We are pleased to introduce candidates from all parties in these contested races: State District 21 -Tim Wesco (R), Carl Rust (D), Ethan Legg (L),City council D2-Randy Yohn (R), Eric Harris (D), Concord T Assessor- Christopher Dickinson (R), Veronica Donaldson (D), and Concord T Trustee- Jim Weeber (R), Jeremy Everett (D).  This is your opportunity to ask questions about your concerns or issues that are important to you. So come meet the candidates in person so they are not just names on the ballot. During the candidate forum we will live stream the Second Congressional District debate from the WNDU studios between Jackie Walorski and Mel Hall.(7-8pm)
